It’s impossible for me to find the words, put them together, and try to explain to everyone why I made this song, or how I feel about this song. Yes, I found the words and put them together to make the song, but it’s where that inspiration came from that is something that I can’t describe in it’s entirety. I’ve always wanted to make a song that was dedicated to my hometown, but I also wanted to wait for the right time to release it. There were plenty of thoughts, feelings, memories, and flashes of nostalgia going through me while working on this track. I dug really deep into my soul and used the experiences that I’ve had in all of the areas of Tacoma, the time that I’ve spent with people that I’ve met throughout the years, the different cultures that I’ve been introduced to, the good and the bad that I’ve seen in my city, and tried to tie it all together into a song. I hope this song makes the people in my city proud to be where they are from. |

Like A Million Bucks #11

Good WoodI don’t quite remember how I discovered Good Wood, but last year when I found out that they did custom pieces, right then and there is when I knew that I wanted a Washington State piece. I didn’t want a plain outline of the state as the pendant, so I sat on the idea for some time. A few months back they released an Africa piece and the Africa piece had grooves carved into it, so I decided to go with grooves to add something to the pendant. I hit them up about the custom piece and they made it happen. Thank you, Good Wood. |
Grynch – My Volvo (Music Video)

My boy Grynch just released a video for his song ‘My Volvo’. Over the past few years he has really been on his grind and is now one of the main hip hop artists out of Washington and I don’t think he has plans of slowing down anytime soon. I’ve never owned a Volvo, but I’ve had my share of hoopties, so I can relate.
